What's on the mind......
The super bowl party will soon begin. I've been kind of looking forward to this party. Football, poker, friends to share it all with, what more could you ask for? Well, I could think of a few things, but why be greedy? I've been thinking a lot lately about things in general. You know, looking for my own place, life, Lilly, and love. There's a lot of contemplation going on in my head at times. I don't know why, but there is. One of the things I've been debating about is were to live. I love living out in the country. But I also liked living in the city too. Just simply for the easy access to work and the general community perks. You know, malls and novelty stores. I just think I personally like the country scene better. But who knows were I'll end up. Oh well. Now on to life. It really sucks sometimes, life that is. But you are always supposed to make the best of it for some reason. Maybe for your family? Maybe for yourself?? Or is it just because someone told you that's how it's supposed to be. Who knows.... I think that I will just do it for a little of everything. I'm all about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness. The American dream that would just be a little easier if I won the freaking lottery!! I think that I can make dew until then though. Next is Lilly. My ultimate joy! Man is she something. Smart as a whip, so darn cute (oh yes, she gets her looks from me!), and she still makes my heart melt when she just says out of the blue, "I love you daddy." If I can say that God has given me anything, it's her. She is truly my angel. Last but not least, there's love. I use to think that I had finally figured it out. Who the hell was I fooling! Obviously myself. But what can you do.
I don't know why I started writing this damn thing at all. Maybe because I'm not tired yet, maybe because I don't really have anyone to talk to (right know that is), or maybe my brain is unleashing some thoughts. I think I'm done, at least for now. I'll try and have some juicy stuff next time, just to make it a little more interesting. Peace out yo.

The house across the street from us is for rent. It's still in the country but way closer to the city than you are now. If you come over for the party you can check it out!
lilly is a doll and it is awesome that she brings you so much happiness.
it is always interesting when you end up at one of those crossroads in life... looking back, it always seems that you can't imagine what life would've been like if you'd chosen something else.
fyi - move to the country if you must, but if you move out further than bill and chris, i'm going to be pissed right off.

Hey Doug! I hope You and Lilly are doing well! I'm sure she is getting so big!!! It's been so long since I've seen either of you. You should give me a call sometime.
